There are many excellent sites on the Internet for anyone who wishes to stay current on international trends in higher education. I contribute to several sites that provide regular updates and reflections on critical issues in this arena.
The World View is a blog on Inside Higher Education that offers weekly commentary from leading international scholars on issues that shape higher education worldwide.
The Center for International Higher Education maintains Facebook and Twitter pages where news about higher education collected from media sources throughout the world is updated daily, making this one of the best sites online for individuals who wish to keep up with international initiatives and trends. Posts cover a range of items including news, blogs and editorials, new publications, conferences, videos and more.
The Center for International Higher Education defines its mission to be advancing knowledge about the complex realities of higher education in the contemporary world. The website hosts a range of resources including the current and past issues of International Higher Education (CIHE’s quarterly magazine) a well as a searchable database, and special web sections focusing on Africa and Academic Corruption.
